Video of the Week: Learning school manners and respect Japanese Style

This programme focuses on two Tokyo schools to find out what role Japanese education has to play in encouraging children to have good manners and respect for others. Amongst other things, it reveals how a sense of obligation to help others is encouraged. Pupils are asked to work in groups with particular responsibilities, including serving each other lunch, and cleaning the school buildings.
