--> What I particularly liked?
- The variety of the topics. The blog does not just focus on etiquette matters alone - as other etiquette blogs might do -, but includes many more interesting, valuable topics. I would say it talks generally about “How to be successful”, and etiquette is surely an important part of it. But it also offers great content in areas such as: image and fashion, success and personal development, social etiquette, money management, codes of conduct in other countries and companies, lots of tips for gentlemen, interesting marketing tips and strategies, the importance of smiling etc. Some topics are particularly interesting because you don’t read so much about them, such as: beauty pageant tips, advice on working with language professionals and translators, what to do to prepare yourself before getting a professional picture taken and and and.....
- That also many other guest bloggers with very interesting and diverse backgrounds have been contributing to her blog. You get to know interesting professionals who you might want to connect with in the future.
- I noticed that my blog and her blog have one particular thing in common... The fact that it allows internet users to read, to listen (to her blogtalk radio show which has very interesting interviews!) and to watch videos. Thus, a truly enriching experience.
- The idea of presenting a blog post (8 Secrets for Growing a Successful business), an interview to listen to and the benefit of a 1 hour “Free” Chat with a Business Coach (Michael Fletcher).
- Some practical tips, such as in “How to respond to a RSVP”, and the benefits you get from (sending Holiday Greeting Cards, having the right soft skills etc.)
- Some interesting research, facts and statistics have been revealed in regard to image.
- That I’ve been featured in it as well, with an interview and my free eBook “The Etiquette Consultant - Interviews with 13 Etiquette Professionals”.
--> My favourite Top 11 blog posts are:
* The Power of Charm (loved the quote “The deepest craving of human nature is the need to feel valued and valuable. The secret of charm is therefore simple: make others feel important.)
* If you don’t have it, you can get it
* 3 Words every small business owner should be able to embrace
