A new joint initiative: The Household Academy (The English Manner & Public Image)

JOINT STATEMENT FROM THE ENGLISH MANNER & PUBLIC IMAGE

The English Manner and Public Image are delighted to announce an exciting new joint initiative:

The Household Academy.

This will showcase several new programmes to provide exceptional training in domestic arts, child-care, cookery, housekeeping and crew service, and is the result of a joint venture between leading international consultancies Public Image (www.publicimage.co.uk) and The English Manner (www.theenglishmanner.com), with overseas partners, Charles MacPherson Associates (www.charlesmacpherson.com).

These courses are intended for young people from the age of 16 upwards, especially those who might want to take a gap year role as Chalet staff and au pairs, as well as yacht and airline crew, cooks and private housekeepers. Students will emerge equipped to take on roles within the modern day household, from the 21st century equivalent of the au pair, to the all important housekeeper and house manager. The courses are also ideal for newlyweds, new mothers and mothers of young children and are specially designed to save time, money and hassle.

The Household Academy will be staffed by an elite group of tutors, namely Alexandra Messervy, Founder of The English Manner and formerly of the Royal Household to Her Majesty The Queen and also the Lucie Clayton Finishing School; Diana Mather, Founder of Public Image and former BBC newsreader; William Hanson, leading etiquette and protocol consultant and a regular voice on the BBC.

Further details will be announced shortly, but to register interest please email: admin@theenglishmanner.com
