Discussion: "If you don't work at the weekends, you don't love your job!"

Do you agree with this statement? I found this statement which I came across recently, really fascinating because it made me think.

Do I personally agree with it? I would say YES. Someone who is passionate about something - as I am currently with writing my blog and other projects - doesn't really care what day or what time it is. If you are enthusiastic about something or you are an entrepreneur then you constantly think "What could I do differently? What could I do better? What could I do more efficiently? What could I do faster than anyone else? What could I do that nobody else does?" I don't mean to say that you have to sit physically in an office in order to consider it as "work". Strategic thinking, in my opinion, can also be considered as work, which - in my opinion - is crucial.

I think it's important that in life you have something that gives you a real sense of satisfaction. For one it could be the job, for someone else it could be a fulfilling hobby or its family. I would say those who are able to turn their greatest hobby into their job are particularly lucky in this world.

On Twitter, for instance, I noticed that on a Friday evening or Saturday you don't necessarily need to wait until Monday to get a reply from another Etiquette Professional. This is proof that people don't just switch off on Friday afternoon or evening as it was the case in the past. It really looks as if the boundaries between personal/private life and professional life are blurring. To be honest, how many of us don't check their emails on a daily basis, whether for personal or professional messages?

What do you think??? How much do you love your job?
