10 Etiquette Book Ideas for Etiquette Professionals

If you are an Etiquette Professional in search of a topic to write your first or your next etiquette book, then have a look at my ideas. I've always been known as a creative person with endless ideas ..... These book titles - as far as I know - have not been published yet. Otherwise, let me know.

Should you decide to write a book from this list I would appreciate it if you could donate some money. See more details below. If you still want to donate because you like the content on my blog you are free to do so. I would need the money to renew my website hosting service (I'm a full time mum with no income until autumn 2010). I would HIGHLY APPRECIATE IT. Thanks.

* Book Idea 1: Test your Etiquette IQ! (1000 Etiquette questions)

On Websites or books you might find 10 or 20 etiquette questions but what about publishing a book with 1000 questions by offering 3 multiple choice answers. There are many categories you can list and getting 1000 would not be a problem, it's just a lot of time that you would need to invest. From my experience I can say that people love taking quizzes and it would allow people to become etiquette experts by taking quizzes rather than reading just do's and don'ts. Obviously don't forget to include the answers . It would be the first one out there!!!

* Book Idea 2: 1000 Etiquette Questions answered
This book idea differs from the first book idea by offering the right answer straight away in a  simple Q & A mode. Also here you can think of many different etiquette topics. I started doing something like this on my blog. You might have noticed them in the past. But publishing it in a book format would make it very interesting to readers who want to use it as a reference book.

* Book Idea 3: The daily Life of an Etiquette Professional: An Insider reveals ...
If you are an Etiquette Professional with many years of experience it would be such an interesting story to read about your experiences on a daily basis (how you started your business, what problems you faced, what you particularly like, what you learnt from it, what you would recommend to others, etc.) Those who aspire to do the same job in the future would get incredible useful tips! Even if you just started out as an Etiquette Professional you could start taking notes on a daily basis about the experiences you are making. (You could do this also in form of a blog.

* Book Idea 4: Tech Etiquette
You can cover topics such as email etiquette, cell phone etiquette, teleconferencing etiquette, social media etiquette: twitter, facebook, youtube, blogging etiquette etc.. There are books which cover some of the topics but don't just focus on tech and social media etiquette specifically in detail. I'm sure sooner or later one person is going to publish this one because it will become very important in our technology-driven world.

* Book Idea 5: Interviews with 10 (or more) Etiquette Professionals
You could do it similarly as I did on my blog in which I asked Etiquette Consultants the same 18 questions. For someone who would like to become an Etiquette Professional it can be really interesting to read. There is so much to learn from. Have a look at it, if you haven't already read all of them.

* Book Idea 6: The Etiquette Diary
Write a book with 365 pages. Divide it into 12 categories (12 months) and share one etiquette tip a day. Offer some space for personal notes or appointments on a daily basis (for those who are maybe a bit less tech oriented and still prefer to keep their daily notes, appointments etc. on paper rather than a mobile phone or other electronic gadget).

* Book Idea 7: Etiquette stories revealed (the good and the bad ones)
There are really a lot of Etiquette books out there which offer do's and don'ts for your professional as well as social life. A book that I would definitely buy is one that consists just of real life stories with good etiquette examples and faux pas stories. This I would say is something people would really remember and learn from in a more practical way.

* Book Idea 8: Your blog as a book!
If you have a blog with lots of interesting content you could just publish your blog as a hardcopy book. You could also take into consideration of including your readers comments.

* Book Idea 9: What we can learn from "Celebrities Faux pas"
In the news we often come across some interesting faux pas stories about celebrities (in politics, sports, business etc.). So why not talking about that in more detail? I noticed that some etiquette consultants started doing this in their blog but it would be a good idea to focus just on these VIPs stories and include "The lesson learnt..." at the end of each story.

* Book Idea 10: Marketing Ideas for Etiquette Professionals
There are some Etiquette Consultants who offer courses in how to market your etiquette business more effectively. But as far as I know there is no book out there that people can buy just as a book without enrolling in (sometimes) expensive courses. You could listen to my 2 Audio Podcasts on this blog in which I reveal 40 Online Marketing and 60 Offline Marketing Tips for Etiquette Professionals. Try to come up with your own ideas and experiences and publish it as book.

Tell me what you think about these ideas!!! Thanks for your feedback.

Very original ideas!Etiquette professionals are unknown in this part of the world ie India and neighbouring countries.I wish employers in this country could have the benefit of professionals who could impart training to their employees.I wish some training modules could be formed and forwarded to the Training Institutes in India.I wish you all the best in your effort and I am sure many have benifitted from your very original ideas.
