Etiquette Question: What should you make sure when scheduling an interview with a person with a disability?

That the interview location is accessible by checking for accessible parking space, ramp entrances, accessible restrooms, elevators, and water fountain and telephones at the proper height for a person using a wheelchair.

Then - when interviewing - try to conduct the interview as you would with anyone. Be considerate without being patronising. Furthermore, when using mobility aids, be aware that some wheelchair users may choose to transfer themselves into an office chair for the duration of the interview. With vision impairments, always identify yourself and introduce anyone else who might be present.
