Etiquette Blog: Barbara Pachter
I started reading other Etiquette Professionals blogs and I must say that some of them are highly interesting. While in the past I thought blogs are useless and a waste of time I started appreciating them more and more because it allows me to get information I would not get from books, websites, etc. A truly enriching experience. Similar experience with Twitter. By the way, If you want to follow me on twitter: www.twitter.com/TheEtiquetteGap. Thanks.
In the next weeks and months I would like to present on my website all those blogs that I personally consider as particularly interesting. (I would like to note that I've not been paid for it, so it's my personal genuine recommendation.)
The first I would like to share with you is Barbara Pachter's blog. Have a look at her website:
http://barbarapachter.blogspot.com
What I particularly liked was ....
+ that she shared personal experiences with her course attendees and their dilemmas.
* My favourite blog entries were:
- An Open Letter to My Son before he begins his internship
- Be Direct when you communicate
- What are your actions telling others?
- Out of the Mouth of Children (a really funny one!!!)
If you are an Etiquette Consultant and you also have an interesting blog I would appreciate it if you could mention it as a comment on this blog entry. Next year I'm planning to make a podcast about other Etiquette Consultants' blogs. Thanks.
