Discussion: Do you think good-looking people have better career chances?
Your opinion matters!
I would say initially ‘yes’ e.g.if in a job interview candidates bring the same qualities to thetable and the only difference is that one candidate is good-lookingwhile the other one looks less presentable. But in the long term Iwould say they also need to prove that they are bright, besides beinghardworking, ambitious, having good interpersonal skills etc. But we also need to bear in mind that sometimes there are jobs which require a beautiful appearance, such as flight attendants, models, actors ...... And we would also need to define what is "good-looking"? What is beautiful to me doesn't necessarily need to be beautiful to a friend of mine....
